They settled in the Keene neighborhood where Pat grew up. As a homemaker, Pat's focus was her family. She and Edward raised four children on Pearl St.in Keene. When her child rearing years were completed, she and Edward moved to Spofford, where they eventually retired.

Pat's affinity for any and all animals is well known by her friends and family. She always had a variety of pets in her home and raised champion blood-line Springer Spaniels. She loved dogs and adopted many rescues, giving them a loving home!
