Donald I. Pelletier, 82, of Richmond, passed away on October 4, 2016, in the comfort of his home.

He was born June 13, 1934, the son of Blanche Gadabout and Albert Pelletier of Vermont.

Growing up in Swanton, VT , Donald proudly served his country as Private First Class in the United States Army. He lived most of his adult life in Connecticut where he worked for Ensign Bickford as a Machinist in Simsbury.

He was a simple man who enjoyed playing golf, pool, and taking long Sunday drives.

Donald I. Pelletier, 82, of Richmond, passed away on October 4, 2016, in the comfort of his home.

He was born June 13, 1934, the son of Blanche Gadabout and Albert Pelletier of Vermont.

Growing up in Swanton, VT , Donald proudly served his country as Private First Class in the United States Army. He lived most of his adult life in Connecticut where he worked for Ensign Bickford as a Machinist in Simsbury.

He was a simple man who enjoyed playing golf, pool, and taking long Sunday drives.

Donald is survived by his three daughters Lea Pelletier and partner Chris Chase of Richmond, NH, Diane Nadeau and partner John Vicat of Mansfield, CT, and Sharon Hatch and partner Bob Dillon of Lovell, ME; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his siblings Gilberte Callan, Solange Pelletier, Marie Allaire, Mourice Pelletier, and Lorraine Wry.

He is predeceased by his siblings Carmen Morrison, Florence Pelletier, Annette Loyer, Jean Paul Pelletier, Rita DesLauriers , and his grandson Daniel Nadeau.

Services will be private.
